RiverRoad Waste Solutions Inc.
Platform company formed to pursue a buildup in the asset-light waste and facility services sector. RiverRoad designs and implements waste and recycling programs that divert the waste stream, reduce waste management expense, and help multi-location customers realize sustainability initiatives. The Company's first acquisition was J&D Waste Management Inc., a Forked River, NJ based provider of outsourced waste logistics solutions.
RiverRoad does not own trucks or landfills. The Company’s primary goal (like that of its customers) is to reduce waste management costs by maximizing diversion strategies. A typical waste hauler increases profit by increasing the number of pickups or by maximizing disposal tonnage. However, RiverRoad designs and implements programs that divert the waste stream and reduce the frequency of service calls to optimize waste management and lower cost. RiverRoad leverages its purchasing power as a large customer of waste haulers to deliver savings to customers and to improve service accountability from vendors. As a result, RiverRoad provides superior customer service relative to traditional waste competitors. Since 2002, RiverRoad has developed proven waste diversion and recycling programs in the retail, banking, food service and hospitality industries, among others.
