Cross Country's nurse and allied staffing business segment represents the majority of the Company's revenue and is comprised of travel and per diem nurse staffing and travel allied health staffing. Travel nurse staffing is Cross Country's largest business. The locum tenens business consist of temporary physician staffing and allied staffing and the clinical trials services business segment consist of service offerings that include traditional staffing, as well as clinical trial management, drug safety monitoring and regulatory services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. The Company's human capital management services business segment consists of education and training as well as retained search services related to physicians and healthcare executives.
Cross Country is well positioned to continue to take advantage of current industry dynamics, including the growing shortage of nurses in the United States, the growing demand for healthcare services and the trend among healthcare providers toward outsourcing staffing services.
